Stupid me or stupid Bombers? I just don't know. And you folks from Manitoba had convinced me that Winnipeg was THE team to beat... I guess they got beat.

Anyway, I want to take a pause from all the rivalries here and try to bring us all (or most of us)together. As some of you may know, I'm going to be in Winnipeg for the August 24th game against the Toronto Argonauts. A couple years back we managed to get a group of about a dozen Poolies together to catch a game. Do you think we can swing something again? Perhaps we can meet for drinks/food before the game. Any ideas?

Signed,
The Koop.

Well, I'm not happy with being tied for 9th but at least I'm ahead of my good friend Jeff.

it's still early, my friend. and let's just remember who told you about this sweet little pool (i think i should get a commission on the points you get as a result - 10% sounds fair!)...

Yo Kids,
I'm am VERY happy with last weeks results. Even the STUPID bombers can't ruin my happy state!
Anyhoo, in the spirit of being in first place (my long reign at #1 will sadly only last at least another 48 hrs, after which I will take my usual place around 14th - home sweet home!) I am proposing a grey cup meeting/beering for any and all poolies that will be in Toronto for grey cup weekend. Who out there will be coming here? Please let me know and I will alert the proper authorities.

Kev

I'm in, Kev! (but you knew that already seeing as I bought the damn tickets already. I'm just trying to drum up some support. Once they realize that the Koop will be there, they'll come running!)

My prediction for the Grey Cup game is that it will either be Hamilton and Calgary or, using the cross-over rule, Toronto and Winnipeg.

If someone needs a tub to sleep in, let me know.

Signed,
The Koop
