WEEK TWO RESULTS

A solid week for a bunch of poolies. The new bonus system for perfect weeks will really make a huge difference!

Props go out to the rookie Pat Strain. Solid hands all through training camp earned a spot with the big kids but can this rook keep it up for 20 weeks? Hmmm......

And how 'bout them Bombers! I'd like to point out that Michael and Blair were the only two poolies who didn't believe in Bomber Blue this week. Check out where that got them!

I knew this new 'extra bonus points for a perfect week' thing was going to be the death of me! This whole season is now officially under protest! (... unless I pull of a miracle and win it in the end.) Consider yourself warned, El Presidente!

P.S. Does the Super-Happy-Fun CFL Pool have a grievance resolution process? Third party binding arbitration?

El Presidente said...

Yes. Third-party binding arbitration IS in effect for the 2007 season. First, a party complains about me. Second, El Duque and I have a party to laugh at the compaints. Third, a party (Me) decides that the complaint has no standing. Clear enough?

So when does El Duque sit on the head of the first (complaining) party? Or has that changed from the days that I lived with him?

OK - time for the serious stuff - quit this bickering Koop. You haven't got a chance of getting anywhere near the top 10. I think it is a matter of split loyalties and a complete loss of significant amounts of grey matter.
Back to reality, what are the odds for BC vs. Argos in the Cup? Any takers?

Speaking of lost grey matter....Argos? Grey Cup? Don't insult us all by mentioning those two in the same breath Eastern Cat!

I can't believe I encouraged Pat Strain to join the pool. Sorry everyone...

Geez Dan... I thought I made it clear that you're only supposed to bring in suckers that are going to stink it up. I mean, that's why I got you and Kevin Hilliard involved a few years back. (Of course, it back-fired when you won the pool...) And I'm pretty sure that's why the Czar got me involved! He was looking for a way to make more money for him and his family. (Insert point-rigging joke of your choice here.)

Yeah Dan! We're looking for patsies here! (no intended play on words Pat)

For reference though, is Pat short for Patrick or Patricia? 'Cause I'm a little tired of having this Pool dominated by women. Just look at the standings! And last years Pool! I mean I know they're superior to us in almost every way (so I'm told) but in CFL picks too! C'mon!

Pat Strain is a dude, but the funny thing is that I've been told that his full name is Patricia. Odd.

Yeah, things are slow at work today.
