WEEK EIGHT RESULTS

Well, another tie this week which wouldn't have posed much of a problem until Koopie decided to push the rules envelope and use his 5 point suicide week. So how were his points doled out? Well, since he picked BC and Saskatchewan he automatically got 5 points for the SK win. A BC win got him 5 but a Calgary win was a minus 5 so they cancelled each other out in my eyes and he ended up with a 5 point week. A bold move Koopie and one that might have turned out to be brilliant, if not for the tie!

As for the rest of us not much was decided. A few minor shifts (minor since we all got either 4 or 5 points!) but the same rules apply for points for week nine: one game worth 4 points and one worth two. Hopefully no more ties.

Don't forget that in Week Ten we have our first MANDATORY 5 point suicide week. This week will not count as your usual 5 pointer which will remain intact if currently unused. As for combining it with any other combination of extra-point options....negative. No "doubl-suicide" weeks or "four-point/suicde combos" allowed. Enough said.
